Call of Duty 2 contains four individual campaigns and they are divided into three stories. All four campaigns have a total of twenty-seven missions. All the single player missions concerns about a world war 2 soldier overcoming many obstacles for survival.
In multiplayer matches the players can choose between American, Soviet, or British for the Allied forces. While the Axies forces can only play as German.
Call of Duty 2 features 5 game types that are : Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Search & Destroy, Capture the Flag and Headquarters A Call of duty 2 server can hold up to 64 players and there are up to 13 different maps.
In capture the flag the player will the put in a team that normal is balanced, then the objective of the match is to capture your opposing teams flag for points.
Team Death Match and Death Match are focused on the same principals. In Team Death Match the player will be in a team, and that team has to get the most kills, while in Death Match every player for himself or free for all, the most that scores wins.
In Search and destroy each side has its role, or the plant a bomb, or to defuse the planted bomb before the time runs out.
In Headquarters match the teams have to capture a set point in the map that spawns randomly so that no one will know where the next point is going to be, and when captured the team will start to gain points for the time they protect it.
In my opinion the call of duty series are the most famous in the shooter genre, both in multiplayer and single player. I chose call of duty 2 because this was my favorite multiplayer shooter game and for a game that was made in the year 2005, COD 2 still has a lot of graphic and many people still are playing it. As for the 5 different game mode types, I prefer mostly to play team deathmatch, mostly with my friends with a microphone.
I rate this game 9/10 for its multiplayer gameplay .
